MY GIRL CHILD SOCIAL PROJECT

Under the “Save the Girl Child Campaign” prasadpawar Foundation is working for giving the platform to the girls having special art skills from 1st to 10th standard.

IMPORTANT RESEARCH WORK OF PRASADPAWAR FOUNDATION:

INDIA my Nation – Social responsibility

Research: Saving Vanishing Indian arts, Restoration & bringing back them to the main course of the Art world.

In 1989 during my education in the College of Arts paintings from Ajanta caves were being taught.

A large portion of these is lost in the course of time. We all are helpless with this natural deterioration of paintings. Even the thought of what I can do for Ajanta left me dejected.

The tales of reincarnation of Tathagat Lord “BUDDHA” who enlightened the world with the message of peace are Jataka tales. These Jataka tales were painted more than 2000 years ago

in the Unesco World Heritage site-” AJANTA” and are still spreading the message of peace.

In the course of time, colour-form-lines from these Ajanta style of paintings are fading in darkness; hence research and restoration is required for presenting in proper limelight, these 2000 years old ancient Jataka tales in their original form. Bringing back the glory of Ajanta and presenting the astounding enlightened Ajanta to the world

is the principal aim of “prasadpawar Foundation”.

Even today this work is being carried out day and night. Thousands of hours are spent on research, travelled over 25000 km on Indian roads in the states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Kerala… personally visited many such places, photographed and studied the paintings-sculptures which made Indian history rich.

This is an ambitious project for research and restoration of the rich Indian style of painted art and showcasing it to  more than 1000 million people….
